Eligibility Criteria

  • Be in a genuine and continuing relationship with your partner.
  • Provide evidence of shared responsibilities, finances, and social recognition.
  • Meet health and character requirements.
  • For married couples, marriage must be legally recognized in Australia.
  • De facto couples must usually show at least 12 months of living together (exceptions apply).
